PLEASE DON’T FEED THE DUCKS

Everyone loves seeing the ducks at Watters Creek. Unfortunately, feeding them can cause problems ranging from malnutrition to water pollution. Please help Watters Creek keep the ducks and the environment healthy by not feeding them.

Doing so causes the following:
• Malnutrition & Disease
• Behavioral Problems
• Stops Migration causing Overpopulation
• Increase in pest population

Canine Code of Conduct

Customers may bring their leashed, well-behaved dogs to most common areas of Watters Creek.

Rules for owners and dogs

1. Dogs are not permitted on the Village Green.
2. All dogs must always be leashed or contained inside carriers. Leashes may be no longer than six feet including retractable leashes.
3. Dogs must always be under their owner's control. Owners, by law, are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and for cleaning up after their dogs.
4. At no time is an owner permitted to leave his or her dog unattended. This includes, but is not limited to, leaving dogs in cars and tethering dogs to benches and light poles while shopping or dining.
5. If at any time Watters Creek management determines that the behavior of a dog is causing disturbance to others, the owner will be asked to remove his or her dog from the premises.

Dog Friendly Shopping

The following stores and restaurants welcome dogs in-store or on patios. Some merchants only allow small dogs if carried. Service animals are always permitted under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Participating stores may have additional rules that must be adhered to, at their individual discretion.
