Watters Creek to Hold St. Patty's Day Bash March 15
Family-friendly festival to include live music, crafts, activities for kids and more --
and the creek will be turned green!

ALLEN, TX – March 3, 2014 – It's no balderdash -- it's a bash! Whether you have Irish blood in your veins or simply in your heart, make plans to join the fun on Saturday, March 15th, as Watters Creek hosts a St. Patty's Day Bash in the picturesque, green setting of Allen's favorite shopping destination which will have turned the creek green for this special holiday. From crafts for kids to balloon twisters, live music and more, families, friends and leprechauns are invited to dance a jig at Watters Creek to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

"We encourage everyone to wear something green to celebrate the holiday," said Glenda Garcia, marketing director, Watters Creek at Montgomery Farm. "Our namesake Watters Creek is even getting dressed up for the occasion -- in green!"

In addition to a green-dyed creek (it's not only green but also "green," preserving the Earth-friendliness of this LEED-certified shopping destination), there will be plenty of activities for a day o' Irish fun.  From noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th, there will be Irish pipers, crafts for kids, hair painters and balloon twisters, as well as a visit from Mrs. Texas, Miss Texas and Miss Teen Texas International. Then, live music from Moving Colors, a celebrated Dallas cover band, will get the crowd moving from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.  All activities are free and family-friendly.

Whether it's shopping for your favorite green fashions at retailers like Anthropologie, Ann Taylor, or Altar'd State; bedazzling your look with emerald accessories from DSW or Charming Charlie's; or dining in U.K. style at the Londoner, there are fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick's Day in a shopping destination close to home but far from ordinary.
