WATTERS CREEK AND THE ALLEN ARTS ALLIANCE PRESENT FALL FOR THE ARTS
Allen, Texas (August 25, 2011) - The Allen Arts Alliance is proud to present their inaugural membership event, Fall For The Arts, at Watters Creek on September 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Stroll the beautiful grounds of Watters Creek while you enjoy artwork and performances by local arts groups who comprise The Allen Arts Alliance. Guests can also partake in the festivities of the opening night exhibition of internationally acclaimed artist Amanda Dunbar.
Meet the artist and visit the Dunbar Studios Gallery located directly across from the newly opened Anthropologie where her Precious Rebel Swarovski crystal-adorned guitars will be on display. Complimentary wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening and guests can enjoy live music by Classic Steel on The Green. Admission to the event includes: a Vera Bradley tote, Watters Creek gift cards, annual membership benefits from The Allen Arts Alliance and more.

About Amanda Dunbar:
Amanda is a graduate of Allen High School and the youngest member of the Texas Governor’s prestigious Women’s Hall of Fame. She is a former child prodigy, who acquired her national acclaim early in her career through repeated appearances on “Oprah”. Her latest art collection has expanded to include installations of Swarovski crystal clad guitars. In 2010, Amanda’s guitars graced the stages of “American Idol”, The Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback, were included in Versace fashion shoots as well as accompanied Beyonce in her performance at President Obama’s Second State Dinner.
Dunbar Studios will hold a gallery space at Watters Creek located directly across from newly opened Anthropologie where visitors can view and purchase her stunning works of art every Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. through September 30.
